DescriptionMen, women, boys, and girls are outside a building with a sign that reads "Eagle Hose Co." At least one man appears to be African American. The building has a cupola on the roof and figures of firemen and a dalmatian above the door. Some people are riding in a motorized tram. Trees are in the background.
NotesSubject Note: The Danbury Fair was an annual exhibition held in Danbury between 1821 and 1981. At first a traditional agricultural fair, the event later included large fiberglass sculptures, stock car racing, and amusement park rides. The former fairground is now (2011) the site of the Danbury Fair Mall. (Finlay 3/25/2011)
