DescriptionAgricultural produce, including pumpkins and squash, is displayed on tables in the interior of a large tent. Signs read "Stone Hill Roadside Market" and "Orangeade." Men and women are looking at the exhibits.
NotesSubject Note: The Danbury Fair was an annual exhibition held in Danbury between 1821 and 1981. At first a traditional agricultural fair, the event later included large fiberglass sculptures, stock car racing, and amusement park rides. The former fairground is now (2011) the site of the Danbury Fair Mall. (Finlay 3/25/2011)
