DescriptionMen, women, and children, most of them wearing raincoats and holding umbrellas, are walking past a line of tents, apparently housing amusement park rides. One boy appears to be eating a hot dog. Other people hold paper bags. Utility poles, flags, and a large building with a cupola are in the background.
NotesSubject Note: The Danbury Fair was an annual exhibition held in Danbury between 1821 and 1981. At first a traditional agricultural fair, the event later included large fiberglass sculptures, stock car racing, and amusement park rides.
