DescriptionDrawstring bag, made of alternating burgundy and dark green velvet panels. The panels resemble an arch in shape, with the pointed tops extending beyond the drawstring casing to create a van dyke top edge. Each panel is embellished with embroidery of flowers or grapes with chenille yarns, steel, brass, and white satin glass beads. The panels are stitched at the bottom to a dark green velvet base. At the bottom corners of each panel, where it meets the base, is attached a tassel of metal beads; another tassel is attached to the center of the base. The drawstring is a cord, which had been like chenille in texture, but the pile is now worn off. At the end of each of the two drawstrings is a silk tassel; one is green, the other is red. The bag is lined at the top with green plain-woven silk; the interior is lined with white plain-woven silk.
