DescriptionThree acrobats perform on a trampoline. A man stands on the shoulders of a second man. A woman is leaping from the shoulders of the first man, apparently about to turn a somersault in mid-air. Stadium seating in the background is crowded with spectators.
NotesSubject Note: The Danbury Fair was an annual exhibition held in Danbury between 1821 and 1981. At first a traditional agricultural fair, the event later included large fiberglass sculptures, stock car racing, and amusement park rides. The former fairground is now (2011) the site of the Danbury Fair Mall. (Finlay 3/25/2011)
