DescriptionA woman holding a hoop above her head performs a split while leaping high into the air from a trampoline. Spectators crowd stadium seating in the background, behind a small band, including a tuba and a bass drum.
NotesSubject Note: The Danbury Fair was an annual exhibition held in Danbury between 1821 and 1981. At first a traditional agricultural fair, the event later included large fiberglass sculptures, stock car racing, and amusement park rides. The former fairground is now (2011) the site of the Danbury Fair Mall. (Finlay 3/25/2011)
