DescriptionSpectators crowd the seats of a small theater apparently in the interior of a large tent. Performers on stage are dressed in what appear to be Tyrolean costumes. Some male performers wear uniforms. Large candelabras are at either side of the stage. A small orchestra is in front of the stage. Signs on the stage read "EXIT."
NotesSubject Note: The Danbury Fair was an annual exhibition held in Danbury between 1821 and 1981. At first a traditional agricultural fair, the event later included large fiberglass sculptures, stock car racing, and amusement park rides. The former fairground is now (2011) the site of the Danbury Fair Mall. (Finlay 3/25/2011)
