DescriptionMen and women are walking along the side of a road. The women wear dresses and coats or jackets. The men wear suits. A state policeman in uniform is directing a long line of traffic. An automobile at the left has lettering that reads "STATE POLICE" and a pair of loudspeakers on the roof. Billboards advertise "Prewar Tires!" and "JOHN A. LINSKY / REALTOR". Large trees are at the right.
NotesSubject Note: The Danbury Fair was an annual exhibition held in Danbury between 1821 and 1981. At first a traditional agricultural fair, the event later included large fiberglass sculptures, stock car racing, and amusement park rides.
