NotesSubject Note: Lugrand Sharpe was born in Ridgefield, CT on June 1, 1797. His father died when he was eight years old and he learned the trade of shoemaking. He married Olive M. Booth, the daughter of a cabinetmaker, in 1823. He converted to Methodism and was active in the Methodist community in Southford. He later moved to Humphreyville, then to Seymour. He died in 1876.
