DescriptionBust length female paper doll, left profile, with twenty-seven individual costumes.
The female doll image has short -cropped, dark hair and very rosy cheeks. Her dress with an empire waist is only sketched in with pencil. The image is set within an oval border, on a square piece of paper. Each costume is also set within an oval border, on a square piece of paper. The costume pages have a hole cut out for the face.
Costumes consist of:
Arabian Courtier, with blue and gray turban;
Dress and bonnet with flowers, sketched in pencil;
Dress with morning cap with orange blossoms, in gray and orange watercolor; Dutch costume, with top hat-like cap, red and black paint;
Dress, laced up center with red ribbon, cap with red ribbon, blue gray and red watercolor;
Dutch costume, with top hat-like cap, red , black and brown dress, black hat; European lady in waiting, red and blue dress, with brown sleeves, bowler-like black hat;
Nun (paper is torn);
Arabian Courtier, blue and white turban, with large red plume;
Dress, pink and brown, with pink rosettes in morning cap, inscribed twice "pink";
Dress, yellow and brown with blue shawl, and blue hat;
Courier carrying cross, purple;
Courtier carrying cross, orange, with yellow cross;
Dairy maid, Dutch costume, blue and brown checked bodice, orange shawl, and black, top hat-like hat;
Gentlewoman's 16th century style dress, blue and orange, with orange balloon sleeves, bowler-like cap and scarf;
Dress, yellow bodice, blue shawl, blue hat with yellow, looped ribbon;
Dairy maid's dress;
Shepherdess, orange cap and hood, blue bodice, holding blue crook;
Courtier's costume, brown, holding orange cross;
Arabian Courtier, blue and white turban, with large orange plume;
Maiden's Dress, blue dress lace up center with red ribbon over a yellow panel, gray collar and cap;
Nun;
Dress, brown, yellow collar, blue shawl, large blue hat;
Royal courtier, blue cape and hat, trimmed with ermine, red plume in cap;
Royal Courtier, blue cape and hat rimmed with ermine, green plume in hat;
Lady in waiting pink and gray dress with pink shawl, pink rosettes in hair veil.
