DescriptionWooden sign for a beach snack bar, yellow stencilled letters on black. Sign has brass hinges and seventeen individual wooden slats that may be added or removed depending on availability of food and beverages. The sign has space for nineteen slats in total. NotesRelated Note: According to information found online, the Hammonasset Special (mentioned on the top bar of the sign) was made like this: you take hard boiled eggs and Virginia baked ham chopped together, mixed with mayonnaise and served with lettuce and tomato on white bread.
