Description(.a) Gas mask, consisting of metal cannister, copper color, with holes in bottom with a cover. From the top of the canister, a hose extends, covered with cloth, to the face mask which is brown cloth with plastic goggles, and a mouth piece for breathing, and strapps for keeping the mask on the head.
(.b) Canvas carrying pouch; beige canvas with olive drab strap. Interior is divided into two compartments, one for canister and other for the mask. There is a small paper board box in the botton of the mask compartment which is label "GLASSO ANTI-DIMMING COMPOSITION". It contains a tube wrapped in flannel-like piece of cloth; contents of tube were to be placed on the goggles after each use and for cleaning purposes.
