DescriptionBrick, stone, and frame houses are surrounded by foundation plantings and large trees. Houses are in the Gothic revival, Colonial revival, and Italianate styles. Some photographs show gardens, with decorative sculpture, a bird bath, and a man with a garden hose, as well as flower beds and ornamental shrubs. A convertible is parked in the driveway of one house. Vines, presumably ivy, grows on the walls of some houses. The photograph on the cover of the portfolio is an aerial view of Asylum Hill neighorhood.
