DescriptionIvory silk satin shoes with inner lining of leather and cotton, and leather soles. Square toes with light blue silk bows. Bows are edged in cotton lace with imitation pearls and gold-colored metal at center. Narrow ivory silk ribbon edges top of shoe opening. Paper label inside right shoe reads: Viault-Este / Four R Brevete / Des M L'Imperatrice / 17, Rue de la Paix, / Paris / Thierry & Sons / Regent Street, 278 / London." Written in ink on leather inside of right shoe "=H" on inside of left shoe "=H" and an illegible script.
