DescriptionNeedlework sampler with buildings and figures, trees, a verse and upper and lower case alpha-numberic rows. The figures include a man on horse-back, a man and a woman standing together with the woman holding flowers, and a man climbing a ladder up to a fruit tree.
NotesObject Note: This sampler matches closely samplers attributed to the school of Abigail Goodrich of Wethersfield. Mary Juliana Salter probably attended this school.
