DescriptionPlans for a Tudor Revival house with rough-cut rubblework masonry and slate roof. Design elements include a Tudor arched front entry, bay windows, cross-gabled roof, multiple window styles- some with diamond-pane casements, brick accents, half timbering, and quoining. The drawing set includes multiple revisions of elevations and basement through attic floor plans between 1927 and 1931. Following are rooms planned in what appear to be final issue floor plans. The basement has a garage, chauffeur's room with bathroom, laundry, recreation room, and storage space. There is a servant's wing on the first level, with two maid's rooms, bathroom, and servant dining room. Other first floor rooms are a kitchen, serving pantry, dining room, serving hall, lavatory, closets, dressing room, reception hall, and living room. For the second floor, Scheide allowed storage space, closets, six chambers (bedrooms), a dressing room off the master chamber, hall, and three bathrooms. According to the plans, the attic appears to be unfinished.
