DescriptionFormal studio of four men. All are formally dressed in coats, vests, trousers, and neckties. One man holds a large piece of wood labeled "BACHELORS' CLUB." Drapery is at the left, a table covered with a tablecloth is at the right.

NotesSubject Note: "Bachelors' Club" appears to be a pun, referring to the large stick of wood held by one of the men in the photograph. It may also be the name of an informal association between the men. Although Bachelors' Clubs later existed in many cities, so far no record of a club with that name in Bridgeport has been found.
