Label TextThe seed and nursery business was established in America in the 19th-century and the Kelloggs produced many brightly colored prints of fruits, flowers, and ornamental trees and shrubs. This included making prints for the local nursery owned by G.H. and R.H. Hale of Glastonbury. The chromolithograph of Manchester Strawberries by Kellogg & Bulkeley seen here sold for 10 cents in the Hales's 1883 illustrated catalogue.
