Label TextAlthough Wentworth studied for a brief period in Munich, the artist was largely self taught. He was a member of the Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts which was established in 1901 and held annual exhibitions at the Wadsworth Atheneum. He also exhibited at the Brooklyn Art Association and American Watercolor Society. Wentworth specialized in painting cows in landscapes and there are numerous examples of this theme in private and institutional collections.
