DescriptionLandscape of a river runing through a mountainous region. In the foreground is a rocky mountain ridge with five deer or elk grazing. To the right are two dead trees and a small stream. Just above the ridge is a river and small plain. On the left is a wooded mountain ridge. In the center there is what appears to be an oxbow in the river. Behind the oxbow are two mountians which are red from the setting sun. The sky is slightly clouded with a red flow from the sunset.
