NotesSubject Note: Gurdon Saltonstall was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts. After graduating from Harvard, he became minister in New London, Connecticut. He was appointed Governor of Connecticut following the death of Fitz-John Winthrop in 1708. He served as Governor until his own death in 1724. Dimensions Note: Sheet is trimmed within platemark.
