DescriptionThree small blue silk fragments that are mounted on a small note card. The largest fragment of the three contains short blue fringe that is hand sewn to the silk with red thread. Written on the card below the fragments, "Pieces of the flags taken by Gustavus the / Great king of Sweden: during the reli- / gious war of 30 years in Germany. These flag / now hang over his tomb in a church in / Stockholm. Presented by Silas E. Burrows."
