DescriptionA man and a woman are walking alone a path between grassy lawns. The woman is pushing a baby carriage. Another couple is in the distance, and a group of children are on the hillside nearby. Two large elm trees shade a stone terrace in the right background. Beyond the terrace, a circular building with a conical roof is partially hidden by trees.
NotesSubject Note: The round building to the right of the terrace is apparently part of the repair shop of the Hartford & New Haven Railroad, which was immediately beyond the park. An 1868 map of Hartford shows a round buiilding in the repair shop complex in this area.
