DescriptionWoman's sleeveless day dress of sheer silk crepe, printed with flowers in pastel colors of blue, lavender, green, yellow, and red on ecru. The neckline is low and rounded in front; it is a low V in back. The waist is encircled by a narrow self-fabric belt with an art deco buckle set with paste diamonds. The belt snaps to the waistline on either side of center front. The bodice falls straight from the shoulders to the waistline. An 8 1/2-inch wide slightly flared panel is stitched from the waistline to the hips. A five-inch self-fabric ruffle is pleated at this hipline, over the skirt. The skirt has narrow, vertical pleats which are stitched down for 7 1/2 inches, then opened up so that the lower skirt is full. The dress is lined with a sheer peach-colored crepe at the shoulders and lower skirt, and a more opaque peach crepe throughout the rest of the dress--from the breastline to the knees. The dress opens at the proper left side seam with black enamelled snaps and a hook and eye.
