DescriptionBlue jewel-tone suit consisting of a jacket and straight skirt. The jacket is short, with three-quarter-length sleeves. The collar, lapel, and front edges are top-stitched by hand. The front is constructed of geometrically shaped pieces; two button holes are incorporated into the seams. Two large blue plastic buttons imitate knotted cords. The jacket is lined with blue synthetic crepe.

The skirt is shaped by darts. The back is constructed with an 8 1/2-inch wide center panel that is seamed to the side back panels; the seams are open for 2 1/2 inches at the bottom. The skirt is partially lined in the back. It closes with a zipper and a flat, blue button on the proper left side.
