DescriptionPostcards show sites related to Nathan Hale, including the Nathan Hale School House in New London, the Nathan Hale Homestead in Coventry, and the Nathan Hale Statue at Yale Univeristy. Other postcards show dining rooms in the Griswold Inn in Essex, the Last National Bank in Hartford, and the exterior of the Yankee Silversmith Inn in Wallingford. Also depicted are the Phoenix Mutual Life Insurance Company ("World's First Elliptical Office Building") in Hartford, American Cyanamind Company, and the Hartford Yacht Club in Fenwick. One postcard shows the Frog Hollow Honor Roll. Several postcards show shade grown tobacco fields and barns.
