DescriptionMostly amateur photographs showing exterior shots of unknown houses. In some, the photographs show snow accumulations with either an individual house or a row of homes along a residential street in the background. One of the postcard photographs shows the interior of a living or sitting room which has chairs, drapery, plants, and a hanging birdcage. In two of the photographs, there are unknown men and women dressed in a winter coat, boots, a suit, and a dress. In one of these photographs, an unknown woman is seated on an outside step holding a cat in her lap.
Object number2006.49.123-.128
NotesSubject Note: Since the Tatro and Heinze families spent their entire lives in Hartford after immigrating to the United States, the houses in these photographs are probably in that city. (Finlay 8/17/2009)On View
