DescriptionThe photographs show Meta Heinze and Alexander Tatro in their old age. Most are snapshots or amateur photographs. Meta and Alexander are shown in a boat, and sitting next to a fireplace. A group photograph possibly includes Amy Tatro as well. All of the women are wearing dresses.
NotesSubject Note: Alexander Tatro was born in Canada in 1868 and immigrated to the United States in 1870. Meta Heinze was born in Sweden in 1871and moved to the United States in 1880. She came with her sister and they worked as maids for wealthy families around Hartford such as the Ponds. The Ponds House in Elizabeth Park is named after them.
