DescriptionThese photographs are informal amateur photographs of the Heinze and Tatro family. One photograph shows a woman playing the piano. Most of the photographs were taken outdoors. Alexander Tatro is photographed sitting on a swing. Other photographs include men holding a basket of plants and women sitting on a bench.
NotesSubject note: Alexander Tatro was born in Canada in 1868 and immigrated to the United States in 1870. Meta Heinze was born in Sweden in 1871and moved to the United States in 1880. She came with her sister and they worked as maids for wealthy families around Hartford such as the Ponds. The Ponds House in Elizabeth Park is named after them.
