Collections
NotesHistorical Note: The Moses Fox Club was initiated in 1939 by Beatrice Fox Auerbach as a way of honoring both her father and longtime G. Fox & Co. employees. People who had worked at the department store for 25 years or more were invited to attend annual Moses Fox Club dinners where new members were initiated. New members received a Moses Fox Club pin with their initials and the year they began working at G. Fox & Co. engraved on the back. Annual dinners featured dinner, dancing, singing, and the presentation of a Moses Fox Club cake. (Harbeson 11/14/2007).
