DescriptionThe hat (.a) is close-fitting and brimless. Velvet covered wires and stiff net, both green, covered with white and pink/blue/white artificial flowers, green velvet leaves, and green velvet bows.
The box bottom (.c) is dark blue, printed in light blue and white with designs of Hartford architecture. Printed along the bottom edge is: "Horace Bushnell Memorial Hall," "Connecticut State Supreme Court Building," "Congregational Church of Farmington," "Aetna Life Insurance Company," and "Tower of Trinity Chapel." The Capitol is also pictured, but is cut off by the seam. The box lid (.b) is light blue, printed in black with "G. FOX & CO. / HARTFORD . CONNECTICUT / [in script lettering] Serving Connecticut / since 1847."
