DescriptionSecond-empire style Goodspeed Opera House is shown from various angles. Mansard roof, tower, porches, dormer windows, and brackets are visible in most photographs. The date "1876" appears on the tower in some views. Some photographs include the East Haddam swing bridge, the Connecticut River, utility poles and wires, and/or flags flying from flagpoles. Flowers are in the foreground of one photograph. A station wagon is parked in front of the theater in another.
