DescriptionLeather gauntlet-style gloves with an applied white finish. The gauntlet has a curved opening on the side opposite the thumb. The gauntlets are lined with an additional layer of leather, making them very stiff; the opening edge around the gauntlet has a narrow binding of the leather.
This pair of gloves was provided to a mourner at the funeral of Reuben Shalor in 1765.
