DescriptionBox of airmail stationary in original box; (a) the box lid is cardboard covered in glossy black paper printed with four parallel gold lines and gold lettering: "FOXTEX / Writing Paper / G. Fox & Co." A white label printed in blue and red that reads: "AIR MAIL" is affixed to the bottom right corner of the box lid. (b) The bottom of the box is covered in glossy white paper and has two white labels. A manufacturer's label affixed to the top left of the base reads: "White & Wyckoff / 68-898P / 100 Sheets / White / Made in USA" and a white price tag printed in blue and black ink affixed to the bottom left hand corner reads" G.FOX & CO. / HARTFORD-CONNECTICUT / 14 /02 /B3 / 60755 /$1.29" The price is crossed out in red ink and fifty cents has been handwritten over the original.
(c) Fifty sheets of airmail weight paper are tied with a crimson bow and two sheets of air mail stickers (d, e) are printed in red ink with the image of an airmail printed in blue ink.
