DescriptionA cream-colored earthenware ashtray, a type of ceramic known as creamware. There are three curved indentations around the rim, and a shallow well. It is decorated with a red, underglaze transfer-printed design The pattern consists of a branch with leaves and small clusters of flowers, mountain laurels, at the center. The border is broken into three sections, the top border pattern having a shield containing three grapevines on trellises in the center instead of the flowers.
At the center of the well is a design of a three-masted ship.
