DescriptionA group of boys and girls pose in front of a brick school building. The boys in the front row sit cross-legged on large paviing stones. One boy holds a slate with the words "Wethersfield / Avenue" written on it in chalk. Some children appear to be African American. A woman, presumably the children's teacher, stands at the right.
