DescriptionGroup of four commemmorative ribbons from reunions of the 18th Connecticut Volunteers, a Civil War regiment. Each ribbon is rectangular, oriented vertically.

Ribbon .1: Burgundy silk with silver printing that reads, "25th Anniversary/ 18th/ CONN. VOLS./ [a scene incorporating the seal of the state of Connecticut]/ AT/ Mystic Island,/ AUGUST 17th,/ 1887."

Ribbon .2: Creme or champaign silk with (now faded) brown printing that reads, "Mystic Island/ [decorative border]/ Conn. 18 Vols./ [decorative border]/ August 15, 1888." The bottom edge is trimmed with yellow metallic braid; twenty yellow metallic tassels hang from the braid.

Ribbon .3: Mint green silk with burgundy printing that reads, "Mystic Island/ [decorative border]/ Conn. 18 Vols./ [decorative border]/ August 21, 1889." The bottom edge is trimmed with yellow metallic braid; seventeen yellow metallic tassels hang from the braid.

Ribbon .4: Red silk with badly faded printing that was probably gold originally. The printing reads, "REUNION/ 18TH REGT./ [large, six-pointed star]/ CONN. VOLS./ WATCH HILL/ AUG. 21ST/ 1895".
