DescriptionRectangular pasteboard box (a) covered in white paper. The bottom and sides are sewn together with a heavier 2 ply thread, possibly as a repair. The lid (b) is covered with green paper and a stripe of white paper over the green all the way around the edges, with two of the corners sewn together using a heavy thread, probably as a repair.

The top of the lid has a piece of white paper affixed to it, with an additional paper label affixed over that. The label reads, "PREMIUM / HAIR JEWELRY, / Of all kinds, done to order, by / MADAME ZWICK, / No. 40 West 4th St., near Walnut, Cin. / The hair furnished by customers always used and / the gold warranted."

Another paper label is pasted on the inside of the lid, it reads, "MADAME ZWICK'S / LADIES' WIG STORE, / No. 40 West 4th St., near Walnut, / CINCINNATI, OHIO. / Braids, Fronts, Wigs, Curls, &c., Perfumery, / Combs, Brushes, &c."
