The interior of the box is covered in burgundy colored paper. A paper label is affixed to the interior of the lid; it is printed in yellow, black, red, and white. To the left is the image of a bearded man, identified below as "WM. ROGERS./ FOUNDER OF THE WM. ROGERS MFG. CO. DIED FEB. 17TH 1873." Printing to the right of the image of the man includes details about the silver content of the knives and how they compare to the products of competitors.
