DescriptionCast iron coffee mill mounted to a wooden base. There are two large iron wheels mounted on either side of the hollow body of the mill, with a wooden handle on the right wheel. A sliding cover at the top opens for the coffee beans, and there is a drawer at the base of the unit to collect the ground coffee. The mill is painted dark green with gold and red accents. A gold decal at the top of the mill on the hopper reads, "UNIVERSAL". Stamped on the top of the unit is, "20"; stamped on the outside of both wheels is, "LANDERS FRARY & CLARK. / NEW BRITAIN CONN. U. S. A."; stamped around the bottom of the mill is, "L.F.G.&C. NEW BRITAIN, CONN. U.S.A.". Stamped on the back of the body of the mill, "OIL / THE BALLS."
