DescriptionDrawing of an interior scene with a man, woman and young girl. The girl is clinging to the woman's skirts and appears to be crying. The woman is holding a handkerchief and looking up at a portrait of a seated man, that hangs on the wall. The man shows a document, presumably a life insurance policy, to the woman. A cat next is beside his leg. Two books and a vase with flowers are on a table at the right.
