DescriptionDrawing of man, meant to represent James M. L. Scoville, seated at a desk, looking at a piece of paper, presumably a letter. There are several other sheets of paper on his desk, and three buttons. In the background through an open window is a view of what appear to be factory buildings, with several men walking around. Some of the men have wheelbarrows and some have horse-drawn carts or wagons.
