DescriptionDrawing of a scene outside in the snow in Russia. A man meant to represent John Ledyard is climbing into a horse-drawn sled driven by one man. He is waving to a group of men all wearing long coats and what appear to be fur hats. Some of the men carry fur muffs. It is snowing, and there is also snow on the ground. Part of a building is visible at the back right.
