DescriptionMan's silk tie, red with stripes of white, black and Wedgewood blue. The front tip ends in a broad point; the back tip is narrower. The tie is lined with white silk and has an off-white woven fabric as interlining. The narrow end has three labels. The first is a retailer's label: "Stackpole,/ Moore,/ Tryon Co./ Importers/ Hartford": woven with red letters on a black background, along with a shield design. The second label is a manufacturer's label in white with words woven in black on the recto: "ALL SILK/RN 21243" and on verso: "UNION MADE/ACWA/ #130" with crossed keys and a sewing machine. The third label is a price tag printed in black ink on white paper: "$8.50".
