DescriptionMicromosaic brooch ( .1) of tiny pieces of glass forming a floral daisy design with flowers, buds, and leaves in the center of an 8-pointed star outline. Four of the points of the star are tipped with small gold balls. The predominant colors of the micromosaic are light blue, white, and pink. The brooch has a hinged pin back and loop. The back is stamped: "FAP."

The original box (.2a,b) is covered in glossy white paper, printed in black on the lid with: "Established 1859 / ERRICO BROS. / IMPORTERS OF / FINE WORKS OF ART / Bric - a - Brac & Fancy Goods, / 859 Broadway, New York / Factory / Galleria Umberto 1 Napol: Italy. / Boardwalk, Atlantic City, N.J." This box is stuffed with cotton to cushion the brooch.
