DescriptionRectangular paper packet of smoking tobacco. The faded yellow paper is folded into a packet to hold tobacco. There is black ink printing on the front with a picture of a family farm scene. A man is seated in a chair smoking a pipe, with a woman and three children looking on. They are looking out over farm with a barn, windmill, chickens and a dog. There is also a man with horses plowing a field. Printing across the top of the picture reads, "E. GOODWIN & BROTHER'S / SPANISH MIXED SMOKING / TOBACCO." More printing on the bottom edge reads, "207 and 209 WATER STREET, N.Y. / Entered, according to Act of Congress, in the year 1848, / BY E. GOODWIN & BROTHER, / In the Clerk's Office of the District Court of the United States for the / Southern District of New-York."
