DescriptionA horse-drawn carriage is in front of a three-story hotel building with a three-story porch, a cupola, and louvered shutters. A sign above the door reads: "Norwalk Ho[tel.]" Men stand on the steps and on the porch, behind a cast iron railing. An African-American man wearing a white jacket is probably a waiter. Advertisements for "2-4-4 / Tobacco / 2 Squares for 4 Cents" are on a brick wall at the left. An oval tavern sign and a building with a sign that reads "Dann's / Stable" are at the right. Elm trees shade the hotel.
