DescriptionGirl's sandals, with a white vamp pierced in vertical strips around the outside of the foot. The vamp has a finger-like extension towards the ankle; it is slit to accomodate the perpendicular ankle strap, which laces through it. The ankle strap is half pink and half purple. It fastens with an aqua enameled metal buckle, which is fastened to the open-backed quarter with elastic. The vamp is edged with small scallops, and embellished at the top with embroidered purple and pink flowers. At the center of the vamp is a tiny blonde plastic doll with a background scene of an ocean, palm tree, and cloud, mounted under a clear plastic, heart-shaped bubble. The sock lining is white vinyl, printed with heart-shaped flowers in red, with green leaves and blue dots. The white plastic soles are molded with a fish, a whale, and a starfish.

The box lid is light pink. There are darker pink hearts in bands above and below a central pale seafoam green band with diagonal stripes of hearts and the initials "PP". In the center is a design of the head of a little blonde pony-tailed girl with a pink headband and moon and star earrings; this image is set within a heart. Below this, in an oval is "Polly / Pocket" and a double heart in pink and blue. A similar design surrounds the sides of the box, except that within each heart, the Polly Pocket sports a different hairstyle or facial expression. On one end, on a solid pink background is "The Tiny World of / [within an oval] Polly / Pocket" and "9 / WHITE" within a white rectangle. "MADE IN CHINA" appears at the bottom. the bottom of the box features an illustration of young boys and girls dancing at "Diddy's Disco".
