NotesHistorical Note: The "New Stone Bridge" was known as the Hartford Bridge when it was completed in 1908. It was later renamed for Morgan G. Bulkeley, mayor of Hartford from 1879 to 1887, Republican Governor of Connecticut from 1889 to 1893, and United States Senator from 1905-1911. (Hudson and Malley 2/27/2007)On View
