DescriptionHand puppet made of a fabric head filled with stuffing, hand-stitched to a long skirt of pale red and cream colored fabric that would cover the puppeteer's arm. The puppet may be male or female. Pencil or black ink forms eyes and pupils, a triangular nose, and a thin mouth on the face, and squiggles of hair on the back of the head. The head is made of two pieces stitched together, so that the seam runs up and around the middle of the head. The pattern on the red and cream fabric looks like meandering, leafy vines. The red and cream fabric skirt is made of two pieces, stitched together up both sides of the puppet, and hemmed along the bottom edge.
